An History made of embracing challenges!

Once upon a time there was a company dedicated to the machinery industry, but soon started to follow the dream of producing satellite dishes. Later on, it evolved and created a company to trade telecommunication products. It continued to grow and, 508 years after Pedro Álvares Cabral, it rediscovered Brazil. From company to Group, it explored new oportunities in the production of cutting and stamping dies and in the manufacture of hospital and geriatric furniture.

Creation of the company named SINUTA – Indústria de Máquinas Metalomecânicas, Lda.
September 1995
Start of manufacturing of satellite dishes. Beginning of the internationalization process with the entry in the French and Moroccan markets.
May 1996
Begining of the implementation of the Quality Management System – NP EN ISO 9002.
Change of the Company’s name to Sinuta – Antenas Parabólicas, lda.
May 1998
Beginning of the construction of a 4 000-sqm factory
Certification of the Quality Management System – NP EN ISO 9002.
May 2000
Beginning of transition of the Quality Management System to ISO 9001:2000 and corresponding certification.
Automation of parts of the production process to improve productivity.
May 2002
Creation of 4SAT with the goal of trading telecommunication products in the Iberian market.
May 2005
Beginning of exports for Eastern Europe – Romania and Bulgaria. Shipping was for the first time above 100 000 dishes in one month
August 2006
Extension of the industrial facilities (8.000 sqm)
May 2007
Creation of Sinuta Brasil that operates in the Brazilian market
May 2008
Creation of Sinuta SGPS, the holding company of all Group companies, 4Imob, managing company of the Group’s real estate and 4Sun, dedicated to the distribution of renewable energy equipment.
May 2009
Strategic re-definition of the Group
May 2012
Beginning of the implementation of an Integrated Management System (Quality, Environment and Safety and Health at Work) in Sinuta S.A.
Start of operations of the Group’s factory in Brazil
September 2013
Creation of two new companies: HCareSol – production of clinical and geriatric equipment – and Sinuta FCE – manufacturing of cutting and stamping dies.
